SEAT Returns for Another Year at Primavera Sound Festival

SEAT is celebrating its third consecutive year as a partner of Primavera Sound.

The festival expects to draw over 220,000 visitors and SEAT uses the festival to connect with Barcelona’s youthful, urban spirit and passion for music.

During the festival, the SEAT Village Stage will showcase 13 national and international hip hop artists in the festival’s line-up, as well as three DJs from three historic international indie bands to bring each night to a close. The manufacturer is also lending its name to the public grandstand ‘Created in Barcelona’.

“Primavera Sound is one of the world’s most important festivals with its roots in Barcelona. Participating yet another year at the festival confirms our commitment to urban talent and strengthens our connection and commitment to music and the city. Through our presence this year at Primavera Sound, we aim to take the festivalgoers’ experience to the next level by featuring major musical talent and helping visitors get to and from the festival as well as get around inside the venue.”

- SEAT Global Marketing Director Susanne Franz

Festival goers can expect to enjoy performances from artists such as Little Simz, Mucho Muchacho and Kaydy Cain, with DJ sets from Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Tim Burgess (The Charlatans) and Richard Colburn (Belle & Sebastian). The SEAT Stage will also host renowned artists such as Miley Cyrus, Solange, Interpol, Carly Rae Jepsen and James Blake.

As well as hosting a stage at the festival, SEAT will be taking part in the Primavera Sound radio show, bringing interviews and music from the heart of the event. SEAT will also be helping to create street art to add colour and creativity to the festival site, with a collaboration space with more than 15 artists.

SEAT has also created a SEAT Lost&Sound app to help people find their friends using augmented reality. There will also be special Primavera stickers available in the GIF section on Instagram Stories for attendees to personalise their social media posts.

To help festival goers get to and from the event, SEAT is also providing a free bus service at peak times connecting the Parc del Forum with download Barcelona as well as two bus routers inside the venue connecting four major hubs.

The brand is also collaborating with the urban festivals Lollapalooza in Paris and Berlin and Wireless Germany.
